This is the 2nd section of Samai Bayati Al Aryan played on the Oud with advanced techniques.
Turkish Samai pieces are very well organized. This section you will learn, along with Part 1 from last week, will complete the 1st “hane” of Samai Bayati Al Aryan.
In Turkish Samai pieces, you have two parts, a “hane”, and a “teslim”. A teslim is a musical refrain, a theme that repeats often in the music. The hane is a melodic development, and there are typically four of them in a piece.
